Lisa Suapopo-Taylor - Founding Director

Lisa’s whakapapa ranges across the Pacific from Tonga, America Samoa, Samoa, Fiji, and Northeast Europe.
She has over 20 years of nursing experience, specialising in colorectal, medical, and mental health nursing. As a senior clinical nurse, she is deeply committed to advocating for Pasifika communities, ensuring equitable healthcare support and cultural responsiveness.Lisa has served on both Pacific and non-Pacific advisory groups, where she provides strategic insights to enhance healthcare practices and community well-being. In addition to her clinical expertise, she works closely across public and private sectors as a Community Connector, fostering collaboration and support for diverse health initiatives.
She undertook part-time study in Sociology at the University of Canterbury and is currently pursuing her Aniva Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing and Pacific Health, supported by a Pacific Perspective scholarship. This further strengthens her ability to lead, advocate, and enhance healthcare outcomes for Pasifika communities. ♾️🧩🏳️🌈

Sina brings diverse experience across youth justice, whanau support, and mental health and wellbeing. Sina has held roles that span frontline work to leadership, including guiding Pasifika mental health teams. Her work has created opportunities to develop culturally grounded programmes for organisations, schools, and communities, leading workplace strategies focussed on supervision, professional practice, and contributing to staff well-being initiatives.
